Not Fainthearted (NFH) is:
- 48 years old.
- 45 pounds over-weight.
- Getting married for the second time in May.
- 2 kids (1 in college), a dog and a 100 year old house that falls apart more than I do.
- Talked into this little adventure by Got Spandex (GS) who is far more “chipper” than she thinks she is.
But hey, if Oprah can run a whole marathon in four-and-a-half hours I can finish a half-marathon in under 3 hours–which is what I have to do or the Grandma’s Marathon Police will haul my sorry butt back to the finish line on a bus! These people have standards apparently.
